Dog Training
He's been training dogs for several decades now. And have placed many dogs in law enforcement and military positions. He believes all dogs like to have a purpose. If you give a dog a purpose, they will be a much better dog.
Positive re-enforcement is key to any training exercise. He doesn't use shock collars right away on any animal during training purposes. Only time that shock collar is called for is if a dog poses a danger to itself, another animal or a human. At no time will force be used to redirect or rehabilitate a dog in my training. Any one using such in the presence....well, they'll get a stern talking to and may be asked to leave the class or training session and forfeit any and all money paid. He is a dog trainer, but mainly trains the human. The human should always be the leader. Never the dog. He will help any one who has an issue with their dog. He will be happy to answer any questions you may have. While many questions you may ask may require my presence to see exactly what it is the dog is dealing with. He doesn't take your dog to his home. He likes to do all training at first in the dog's home. This way there is no distractions and are on the dogs territory and the dog is comfortable with its surroundings. At a later date, once its discussed, you may venture out to the public or maybe during evaluation, will go for a walk. While consultations are free, it is a time that he uses to get to know your animal and you as a human and to see where your relationship is. He will come to your home as long as its within 25 mile radius of his home location. So if you need a dog trainer, please contact him directly using the CONTACT link in the navigation bar. |
